1.譯員的語言能力要過關(guān)。要想商務(wù)談判順利進(jìn)行,擔(dān)任談判翻譯工作的翻譯人員必須熟練掌握談判雙方的語言,熟悉談判雙方的文化背景,并且具有嫻熟的語言翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換能力。
1. The interpreter should pass the language ability. 3.掌握談判目的,即互惠共贏。談判雙方進(jìn)行談判的最終目的,絕大多數(shù)情況下都是想要取得互惠共贏的效果。所以,談判翻譯人員在進(jìn)行翻譯時(shí),應(yīng)本著實(shí)事求是的原則,將談判雙方的信息準(zhǔn)確傳遞給對方,不能帶有主觀色彩或個(gè)人傾向,要以促成談判雙方目的達(dá)成為最高準(zhǔn)則。
3. Master the purpose of negotiation, that is, mutual benefit and win-win. In most cases, the ultimate purpose of negotiation between the two parties is to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. Therefore, in the process of translation, the negotiators should follow the principle of seeking truth from facts and accurately convey the information of both parties to the other party, without subjective color or personal inclination. The highest criterion is to achieve the purpose of both parties.
4.適當(dāng)進(jìn)行靈活的翻譯,在商務(wù)談判中,經(jīng)常會(huì)有劍拔弩張,氣氛尷尬的情況,切忌把話說得太死,讓談判雙方都沒有回旋的余地。翻譯人員在進(jìn)行翻譯時(shí)同樣如此,在準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)雙方主要訴求的前提下,可以適當(dāng)加強(qiáng)語言表達(dá)的靈活性,避免把話說得太死,以促進(jìn)談判的順利進(jìn)行。
4. Appropriate and flexible translation. In business negotiations, there are often situations of tension and embarrassment. Don't talk too hard, so that both sides of the negotiation have no room for maneuver. The same is true for translators. On the premise of accurately expressing the main demands of both sides, translators can appropriately enhance the flexibility of language expression and avoid saying too much, so as to promote the smooth progress of the negotiation.
